A jaw-dropping 1956 proof Franklin half dollar graded PR 67 DCAM by PCGS. We very rarely would ever describe a Franklin half dollar as 'jaw-dropping', however, this one has without doubt earned this description. It carries an extremely deep cameo throughout both sides with what looks like 'black and white' contrast when this coin is tilted in the light. This amazing example is stored in an old green label holder and we believe it would potentially grade higher according to today's grading standards. However, we like this beauty much more in it's old time holder from PCGS.
