A beautiful 1955 double die obverse Lincoln wheat cent graded MS-63 BN by NGC. This attractive coin carries an attractive chocolate brown original tone with appealing surfaces. It holds just a touch of red that you can see in the close-up photos provided. It carries very mark free surfaces for the grade with a a very appealing look. A great coin for the grade that is housed in an older style NGC holder. This is one of our favorite variety coins ever minted by the United States Mint. Out of a mintage of 33,058,000 for the 1955 wheat cent the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 15,000 1955 double die wheat cents exist today. This coin is one of only 289 graded Mint State 63 Brown by NGC.
