An beautiful 1955 double die obverse, Lincoln wheat cent graded MS 63 RB by PCGS. It holds an exceptional strike with appealing red and brown surfaces that is definitely mostly red throughout the obverse. This is by far the nicest red brown example we have offered recently. This coin is exceptional for the grade and has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This coin has been one of our best sellers and has been very hard to replace lately, especially in red brown condition. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 15,000 of these have survived in all grades today! Of these survivors, it is one of only 2,250 that have survived in red and brown condition. It is one of just 269 graded Mint State 63 Red Brown by PCGS.
