A very attractive 1931 S key date Lincoln wheat cent graded MS 65 RD by PCGS. It carries very sharp details for the grade with an excellent strike among both the obverse and reverse. It is entirely fully red throughout both sides with very lustrous and appealing surfaces. This key date coin has been in high demand lately among collectors. This key date coin holds a fairly high mintage of 866,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 80,000 have survived today. Of these survivors, they estimate that only 8,000 have survived in red condition such as this one. This coins is one of only 938 graded Mint State 65 Red by PCGS.
