A tough 1922 No D, Weak Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent graded MS 62 RB by PCGS. This coin is by far the nicest 1922 No D, Weak Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent we have ever offered. The obverse is mostly red with the reverse being nearly entirely brown. This tough coin has been housed in an older style PCGS green label holder and we believe it would have a shot at grading higher today. It has absolutely no D visible on the obverse as shown in the close-up photos provided.
This coin holds a mintage of 7,160,000. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 200 of these are 1922 No D, Weak Reverses that have survived in red brown condition such as this one. This coin is one of only 12 graded Mint State 62 Red Brown by PCGS.
