A very attractive 1922 No D, Strong Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent graded XF 40 by PCGS. It holds superior details throughout both sides for the grade level with fully defined wheat stalks on the reverse. It also holds a nice brown patina that matches evenly among both sides. A very tough coin to find lately in this grade level. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. The 1922 No D, Strong Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent is one of the most popular variety coins ever produced for the Lincoln wheat cent series. It holds a mintage of 7,160,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 15,000 have survived that are the No D variety! This coin is one of only 562 graded to be in Extra Fine 40 condition by PCGS.
