A very attractive 1918/7 D over-date buffalo head nickel graded F 12 by PCGS. It carries very attractive original surfaces with a clear over-date on the obverse and strong details for the grade. This coin does have a lot of horn remaining on the buffalo. It is one of the most popular variety coins for the entire buffalo head nickel series.
At the time of this listing, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 7,000 of these have survived in all grades today! Of this small number, this coin is one of only 163 that have been graded F 12 by PCGS.
