1917 25c Standing Liberty Quarter NGC MS 65 FH Uncirculated Full Head Original Toned
An original 1917 type one, standing liberty quarter graded MS 65 FH by NGC. It holds a fantastic strike strike throughout both sides with very dark crusty original toned surfaces. The year is often the most popular for collectors as it was minted during the second year of the series and the 1916 is no where near affordable compared to this one. It has been housed in a newer style NGC prong holder.
This Philadelphia Mint date has a total mintage of 8,740,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 9,000 have survived with a full head such as this one. It is one of just 792 graded Mint State 65 Full Head by NGC.
