1915 S 5C Buffalo Head Nickel PCGS AU 55 About Uncirculated Better Date Tough !

A very attractive 1915 S better date buffalo head nickel graded AU 55 by PCGS. It carries an excellent strike for this San Francisco Mint date with a fully struck horn on the reverse. It does hold some light original toning throughout both sides. This date is one of the toughest ones to obtain in this grade level. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This better date coin holds a small mintage of only 1,505,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 6,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 88 graded About Uncirculated 55 by PCGS.
