A very attractive 1913 S type two, key date buffalo head nickel graded VF 35 by NGC. It holds a great strike throughout both sides with very attractive original toned surfaces. It holds a full tip horn on the reverse and looks nicer than the deemed grade by NGC.
This key date coin holds a mintage of only 1,209,000. Of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 14,000 have survived in all grades today! It is one of only 11 graded Very Fine 35 by NGC.
