An attractive 1913 Matte Proof Lincoln Wheat Cent graded PR 62 BN by PCGS. This coin looks like it clearly should have been labeled as a red brown by PCGS as a lot of the obverse has red remaining with the reverse being nearly entirely brown. A very mark free coin for the grade that we believe could have easily graded a point higher. These 'affordable' matte proof Lincolns typically sell very quickly for us.
This proof issue date holds a tiny mintage of only 2,848. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 475 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only seven graded Proof 62 Brown by PCGS.
