An attractive 1913 proof barber dime graded PR 61 by PCGS. This date is common for the barber dime series but is much harder to come by in proof than a business strike. This beauty looks much more attractive than indicated by the photos provided due to us not being able to capture most proof coins well. It holds what looks like a light cameo throughout both the obverse and reverse. A neat proof type coin to find stored in an old green label PCGS holder. We believe it would grade higher according to today's grading standards.
This date holds a low proof mintage of only 622. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 575 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 6 graded Proof 61 by PCGS.
