A gorgeous 1904 S double eagle $20 gold piece graded MS-60 PL by PCGS. Although this is a fairly common date from the San Francisco Mint, this coin is next to impossible to find designated as a Proof Like by PCGS. This is the only one graded MS-60 PL by PCGS and there are only three others of this coin graded Proof Like in all other grades combined by PCGS.
It has much more lustrous and flashy surfaces than the photos show. We are not sure how PCGS only came to an MS-60 grade on this example but they must have been having a very hard day in the office.
