This key date San Francisco Mint carries strong details for the grade with a full good grade obverse, full bold date, and clearly easily visible complete 'S' mint-mark on the reverse. This key date has been in strong demand lately and has been tougher to find in 'affordable' grade levels such as this one.
This coin is the absolute key to the series with a mintage of 72,664. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that of this number only 2,000 have survived in all grades today. It is by far the toughest barber quarter to find for the entire series. This coin is one of only 340 graded About Good 3 by PCGS.
