1901 S 25C Barber Quarter PCGS G Good Details Key Date Strong Rims Coin

With a low mintage of only 72,664 this key date coin is much harder to find than its' mintage indicates. It is by far the toughest barber quarter to find in any condition. It has strong full rims on both sides with a very attractive original tone. This coin looks as nice as most G-6 grade coins we have seen in holders. It does have some light damage as indicated by PCGS. The obverse has a few very small marks on her neck and the reverse has some light scuff marks. We believe it should be in a 'damaged' holder as indicated by PCGS but the damage is not very significant or distracting from the overall coin. A very affordable coin for the grade.
