An attractive 1894 O better date silver Morgan dollar graded AU 53 by NGC. It holds excellent details throughout both sides with very crusty lightly toned original surfaces. A very attractive coin that we believe could potentially grade higher if the toning had been removed. However, we like to keep coins nice and original such as this one.
This New Orleans Mint coin holds a mintage of 1,723,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 160,990 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 635 graded About Uncirculated 55 by NGC.
