A tough 1894 key date Morgan dollar graded EF 45 by ANACS. It carries an exceptional strike with appealing darkly toned original surfaces. This date is very under-rated in our recommendation and under-valued. It has nearly the same mintage of the 1893 S but is just a fraction of the price. This coin has been much harder to find lately than in previous years. This Philadelphia mint date has a total mintage of 110,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,990 have survived in all grades today.
