A beautiful 1893 better date liberty head nickel graded MS 64 by PCGS. It holds an excellent strike throughout both sides with a neat little planchet flaw at about noon on the obverse. It holds a very light patina that matches evenly throughout both sides. This attractive coin has been housed in a PCGS Green Label Holder.
This Philadelphia Mint date holds a mintage of 13,368,000. However, of this large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 35,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 259 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS.
