An 1889 O better date silver Morgan Dollar graded MS 62 by NGC. It holds a typical strike with mostly white surfaces. A tougher New Orleans Mint date to find in this grade. The Morgan dollar series has been the most in demand series of all U.S coins for us and better date coins such as this one have been hard to hold in inventory. This New Orleans Mint coin holds a higher mintage of 11,875,000. However, of this large mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,187,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of 952 graded Mint State 62 by NGC.
