An attractive 1885 CC silver Morgan Dollar graded AU 58 by NGC. It carries an exceptional strike throughout both sides with lightly toned and original surfaces. In all of our 17+ years in the coin business/hobby, we do not believe we have ever before offered one of these in this grade level. An extremely tough coin to find in this grade or even lower. This Carson City Mint date carries one of the lowest mintages of the entire series with only 228,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that 174,250 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 11 graded About Uncirculated 58 by NGC.
