1885 CC $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 62 Uncirculated Carson City Toned Cert#0996

A very uniquely toned 1885 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 62 by PCGS. This coin has just a light touch of toning on the obverse but holds a very heavily toned reverse. It carries a very original look throughout the reverse which we suspect is the result of being stored on the end of a roll. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This Carson City Mint date holds one of the lowest mintages of the entire series of only 228,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 174,250 have survived today. It is one of 2,083 graded Mint State 62 by PCGS.
