A beautiful 1881 S silver Morgan dollar graded MS 67 by NGC. It carries a superior quality strike throughout both sides with very lustrous attractive surfaces. It holds just a very light hint of original toning most notably around a portion of the reverse rims. A very appealing coin that is very mark free. This date is among the most common for the entire Morgan dollar series. It holds a huge mintage of 12,760,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,200,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 4,641 graded Mint State 67 by NGC.
