This stunning 1880 S silver Morgan dollar is absolutely superior for the grade. It has extremely lustrous surfaces blowing most MS-66+ graded Morgan dollars away. This is the type of coin with a 'flash' that if you were to put in a case with 10 other MS-66+ graded Morgans beside it this would would stand out. We were expecting that this coin would grade higher considering it's nicer than many MS-67 graded Morgan dollars we have seen. However, PCGS was definitely conservative when grading this very eye appealing coin.
