A tough 1876 CC better date seated liberty quarter graded MS 61 by NGC. It holds a decent strike with some very attractive original toning. We believe this coin looks much nicer in hand than what is shown in the photos provided. We believe it could likely grade a touch higher according to today's grading standards as it has been housed in a slightly older style NGC holder.
This coin carries a total mintage of 4,944,000. However, of this fairly large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 of these have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 22 graded Mint State 61 by NGC.
