An 1878 8TF silver Morgan dollar graded MS 64 by PCGS. This coin carries an excellent strike throughout both sides with attractive blast white flashy surfaces with just a hint of toning around the obverse rims. A very tough variety to find lately with the eight tail feathers such as this one.
This coin holds a mintage of of 749,500. Of this mintage, it is one of only 24 graded Mint State 64 by PCGS that have been designated as this variety. There are currently only five coins graded higher by PCGS for this particular variety.
