An attractive 1878 7/8 TF silver Morgan dollar graded MS 63 by PCGS. This coin has been noted by PCGS to be the 7/8TF variety and PCGS as labeled it to be the 'weak' style. It carries an exceptional strike with some light toning throughout both sides. Although it is hard to tell from the photos, the reverse of this coin is clearly proof-like when it is being tilted in the light. This date carries a huge mintage of 9,759,300. However, this coin is one of only 1,608 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
