An attractive 1877 key date three cent nickel graded PR 62 by NGC. This attractive original coin is a proof-only issue and carries a very light patina among both sides. It is has been housed in a newer style NGC holder and has been approved by CAC for quality. This proof issue coin is among the most valuable for the series with a low expected survival rate of only 650 coins according to the PCGS Coin Facts. Of these survivors, it is one of only 10 graded Proof 62 by NGC. It is also one of only four approved by CAC for quality in this grade level.
