1877 T$1 Trade Dollar ANACS AU 50 About Uncirculated Old Holder US Type Coin

An 1877 trade dollar graded AU 50 by ANACS. It carries a strong strike throughout both sides with some light toning around the rims of both sides. A very attractive coin for the grade that has been housed in an old time 1980's small size ANACS holder. This Philadelphia Mint date holds a mintage of 3,039,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,500 have survived in all grades today.
