An original 1877 key date Indian head cent graded VG 8 by NGC This key date coin carries strong full rims throughout both sides with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. A very tough coin for us to hold lately as it has been in strong demand among collectors.
The 1877 key date Indian head cent carries a mintage of 852,500. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 of these have survived in all grade! This coin is one of only 546 graded Very Good 8 by NGC.
