A beautiful 1873 better date Indian head cent graded MS 63 RB by PCGS. It carries a sharp strike among both sides with a lot of red remaining for a red brown designated coin. It is very attractive and has earned it's grade by PCGS. They have designated this coin to be the 'Closed 3' style. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This date holds a total mintage of 11,676,500. However, of this large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 260 have survived in red brown condition today. This coin is one of only 50 graded Mint State 63 Red Brown by PCGS.
