A rare 1870 CC key date seated liberty half dollar in good to very good condition. This coin carries strong full rims but the patina does indicate a cleaning at some point in time. This is one of the toughest dates to find for the entire seated liberty half dollar series.
The 1870 CC key date seated liberty half dollar holds low mintage of 54,617. However, this number is severely inflated from what really exist today. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 200 of these have survived in all grades today!
