An attractive 1868 S better date seated liberty half dime graded AU 53 by PCGS. It holds a good overall strike with some neat die clashing throughout the reverse. It also has very appealing crusty original toned surfaces.
This San Francisco mint date has a total mintage of only 280,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 400 have survived in all grades. It is one of only seven graded About Uncirculated 53 by PCGS.
