1866 2C Two Cent Piece PCGS MS 64 RB Uncirculated Red Brown US Type Coin

A very attractive 1866 two cent piece graded MS 64 RB by PCGS. It holds an above average strike with attractive red and brown surfaces. It has a nice fairly even patina that flows throughout both the obverse and reverse. This date is fairly common to the series making it perfect for a U.S type collector. This Philadelphia mint date has a total mintage of 3,177,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,000 have survived with red and brown surfaces such as this one. It is one of only 156 graded Mint State 64 Red Brown by PCGS.
