1861 25C Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS MS 62 Uncirculated Civil War Era Coin

An attractive 1861 Civil War Date, seated liberty quarter graded MS 62 by PCGS. It carries a strong strike throughout both sides with a light hint of toning throughout both sides. A harder to come by date in this grade level. This date holds a high mintage of 4,853,600. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 5,000 have survived today with only 600 still existing in Mint State 60 or better condition! This coin is one of only 94 graded MS 62 by PCGS.
