1859 Seated Liberty Dollar NGC AU Details About Uncirculated Key Date Coin
With a mintage of only 255,700 this date is very hard to come by in any condition. It's actually even harder to come by than its' mintage indicates. We believe that we have seen more 1859 S seated liberty dollar (with a mintage of 20,000) more often than this Philadelphia mint coin. It has excellent details on both sides with an old cleaning as mentioned by NGC.
