1836 50C Reeded Edge Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS G 4 Key Date US Coin

A tough 1836 key date reeded edge, capped bust half dollar graded G 4 by PCGS. This coin is by far the toughest for this short lived series from 1836 to 1839. This was a transactional year from the capped bust to the reeded edge half dollar. It is a perfect looking coin for the grade and has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This tough coin has a tiny mintage of only 5,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin facts estimates that only 1,000 have survived in all grades. It is one of just two graded Good 4 by PCGS.
