A nice original 1798 Large 8, draped bust dime graded G-4 by PCGS. This coin has strong detail for the grade designation with a very pleasing original patina. The reverse looks like a fine grade but the obverse holds it back in our opinion. PCGS has deemed this coin the 'Small 8' variety but someone noted to us this coin is indeed the 'Large 8;. We are selling this item as the Large 8 and noting that we believe PCGS to have made an error with listing it as the 'small 8'. It has been approved by CAC for quality.
