1935 Connecticut 50C Silver Commemorative Half Dollar PCGS MS 66 OGH Original

An attractive 1935 Connecticut silver commemorative half dollar graded MS 66 by PCGS. This coin is fairly common to come by in lower grades. However, it is not often offered in this condition or higher. It holds some original toning throughout both sides and we believe it could grade potentially higher by PCGS today as it has been housed in an older style PCGS green label holder. This commemorative half dollar holds a mintage of 25,015. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 21,250 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 685 graded Mint State 66 by PCGS.
