A 1955 double die obverse Lincoln wheat cent graded MS 61 BN by NGC. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. This attractive coin carries a low population of only 14 coins approved in this grade level by CAC. This coin is one of the most popular variety coins for the entire Lincoln wheat cent series and is one of our personal favorite coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It has complete doubling on the motto, date, and liberty on the obverse.
