A beautiful 1955 double die obverse, Lincoln wheat cent graded XF-45 by PCGS. It carries an excellent strike with chocolate brown original surfaces that match evenly on both sides. We thought this coin would certainly grade AU but PCGS decided to be conservative on this one. It has been approved by CAC for quality making it one of only 15 coins approved by CAC in this grade level for both PCGS and NGC.
