A 1952 Proof Franklin Half Dollar graded Proof 66 by NGC. This proof issue coin holds a film of light blue toning among both the obverse and reverse. It is one of the highest graded proof coins we have ever offered for this date. A tougher one to come by in this grade level having been approved by CAC such as this one.
This proof issue date holds a total mintage of 81,980. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 57,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of 1,272 graded Proof 66 by NGC and one of only 99 approved by CAC in this grade level.
