The 1942 S walking liberty half dollar is a better date for being part of the late dates of the series. It holds a total mintage of 12,708,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 600,000 have survived in all grades. This amazing coin is one of just 10 graded Mint State 67 by PCGS. There are currently only three graded finer by PCGS having been graded MS-67+.
