A tough 1942/1 Over-date variety silver Mercury dime graded VF 30 by NGC. It carries strong details for the grade with an easily readable and bold over-date. It also has a nice attractive patina among both sides. This over-date coin has been in very strong demand lately among collectors.
This over-date coin is one of the most popular variety coins to the entire Mercury dime series. The PCGS Coin facts estimates that only 3,500 of these have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 730 graded to be in 'Very Fine' condition by NGC.
