1937 D 5C 3 Legs Buffalo Head Nickel ANACS AU 53 Three Legged Original !
An attractive 1937 D three legged, buffalo head nickel graded AU 53 by ANACS. It holds an excellent strike on both sides with a light original patina that flows evenly throughout both sides. This coin has a full tip buffalo horn on the reverse and a good deal of original luster remaining for the grade. It has been housed in an old time 1980's style Small Size ANACS holder. This variety has become very affordable compared to previous times and we believe it is at a low price point compared to how few have survived today. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 of these have survived in all grades today!
