1937 D 3 LEGS Buffalo Nickel NGC XF 45 CAC Approved Three Legged Extra Fine

A very attractive1937 D three legged, buffalo head nickel graded XF 45 by NGC. This coin carries very nice details for the grade with some attractive original toned surfaces. We believe it could have easily ended up in an about uncirculated graded holder. This attractive coin has been approved by CAC for quality. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 of these have survived in all grades today! This variety coin is seldom offered in this grade level certified problem free by PCGS. This coin is one of only 594 graded Extra Fine 45 by NGC. It is also one of only 92 approved by CAC in this grade level.
