A beautiful 1937 D three legged, buffalo head nickel graded AU 55 by NGC. It holds excellent detail for the grade with attractive very lightly toned surfaces. A tougher variety coin to find in this grade level,that has been in strong demand. This variety has become very affordable compared to previous times and we believe it is at a low price point compared to how few have survived today.
The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 of these have survived in all grades today! It is one of only 860 graded About Uncirculated 55 by NGC.
