A very attractive 1931 S key date Lincoln wheat cent graded MS 64 RD by PCGS. It carries a strong strike throughout both sides with a very deep red patina among both the obverse and reverse. It does have a bit of verdigris as you can see in the photos provided. It is clearly red throughout both sides and has been housed in a PCGS Green Label Holder . The close-up photos give an accurate representation of this attractive coin looks in hand. This key date coin holds a low mintage of only 866,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,000 have survived with red surfaces such as this one. It is one of 1,675 graded Mint State 64 Red by PCGS.
