A tough 1931 D better date Mercury dime graded MS-64 FB by PCGS. This coin has a very sharp strike on both sides with fully split bands on the reverse. It carries a very light patina that matches nicely on both the obverse and reverse. Even though this is not one of the most valuable dates to the series it is one of the harder ones to find. We believe the 1931 Mercury dimes are all under rated for their rarity.
This Denver Mint coin holds a mintage of 1,260,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 97 graded Mint State 64 Full Bands by PCGS.
