A completely original 1931 better date Mercury dime graded MS 65 FB by PCGS. It has an exceptional strike with fully defined bands and a heavy crusty original tone among both sides. We believe this date to be very under-rated and undervalued for how difficult these are to come by in mint state grades. This Philadelphia mint coin has a total mintage of 3,150,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 900 of these have survived today with full bands such as this one. It is one of only 145 graded Mint State 65 Full Bands by PCGS.
