A beautiful 1928 key date silver Peace dollar graded MS 65 by PCGS. It holds an above average quality strike with some lightly toned completely original surfaces. It is very mark free for the deemed grade by PCGS. This key date coin has been much harder to come by than in recent years in this grade. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This key date holds a fairly low mintage of 360,649. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 40,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 380 graded Mint State 65 by PCGS.
